Trail Ride Feedback Wanted

November 9th, 2009 · 8 Comments

This is the time when we take stock and decide what changes to make for the next trail ride.  Donna would love to hear from you about what you liked and what you did not like about the trail ride.   I know that we would all like some wonderful gorgeous trail ride weather but we haven’t figured out how to control the weather yet.

So take time to leave a comment.  You can leave an anonymous one if you like or leave your name and email.  Or you can email me at webmaster@dblafarm.com.  Whichever way you decide to let us know how you feel, we do appreciate your feedback.

Thanks again for riding with us.

Spring Trail Ride Forecast and Plans

March 25th, 2009 · No Comments

There have been lots of questions about the Spring Trail Ride with the current forecast for rain this weekend.  According to the Richmond stations, there is only a chance of showers, most likely occurring Saturday night and Sunday.  The good news is that it is supposed to be 70 degrees so if the rain holds off until evening, it will be a beautiful day for a ride and even if we do run through a shower, it will be warm.

Due to conflicts with other rides, the Spring Trail ride will not be rescheduled.

People who are arriving on Friday are welcome to ride Friday afternoon.  On Saturday, we will ride between the drops.  We will either ride a little later or a little earlier based on the weather.  The ride may be modified so that we can go before or after the showers if it does, in fact,  rain on Saturday.

If the ride is shortened on Saturday, and folks want to ride on Sunday, the trails will be available on Sunday as well.  Regardless of the weather, a great time will be had by all.
